Brian Yeang Testimony

God has really moved me since I was in my elementary years to my years right now through many things and many people. God has provided me with a Christian family that cares and provides for me and protects me no matter what the circumstance is. He has provided me with a great church to support me and help me in my path with God. He has provided me with people that I don’t know what I would do if they weren’t in my life. They comfort me and support me when I need it and even when I don’t. He has provided me with an awesome youth pastor that has given me advice and guided me through my walk.

God is showing me many things even if I don’t realize it. He is definitely showing me patience. He has tested me plenty of times with different people in my life including family, friends, people I don’t talk to that much, people that annoy me, and others that have made me frustrated.

When I praise God, I praise him for all of the good things he has done and sometimes I even thank and praise him for the times of adversity in my life. I praise him for all of the awesome things in my life like my friends for example, and sometimes I praise him for all of the normal activities like waking up, the air that I breath, and the life and healthiness I have. I sometimes praise him for my times of adversity because I know that later in life it will help me become a better and stronger purpose and is part of God’s plan.

People who influence me are people who mentor me and counsel me and teach me the way I should be taught. People including Justin Wong, Adam Lee, Robert Liu, Stephen Wong, Pj Woo, Andrew Yeang, Edward Chau, Rebecca Lee, Jason Leo, Alyson Lee, Jonathan Kueh, and any small group leaders/counselors at an event that has taught me. Some influential moments were when I first went to Winter Retreat 2008 (my 6th grade year). That Winter Retreat I started to actually enjoy coming to church and learning more about God and what he does for us and what he has done for us and what he will do for us. That Winter Retreat was probably my most influential moment of my life.
