I have been going to church almost all my life; first in Macon, and then here in Houston. While in the 6th grade I joined the Christian Student Union at school, we met every Thursday and various Youth Ministers would come and lead us. During this time I realized my need for Jesus in my life and on multiple occasions I would pray the salvation prayer to God. My mother did not allow me to be baptized until I was in 8th grade. It was then that I made my profession of faith at church and was baptized at CBC. Teri (Ligh) Toy then discipled me and a friend and I came to understand my faith more and walk/grow closer to God. 

Significant events in my life that has impacted me spiritually: the Death of my Father; God allowing me to graduate from pharmacy school and the difficulties, miracles, and grace He showed me during college; mission trips to Laredo and the Rio Grande; the China Mission Trip in 2006.
